Welcome To Building Self Confidence

Welcome to my blog about building self confidence.  Many people suffer from low self confidence all the time, but more commonly people like myself suffer from low self confidence every once in a while.  I hope this blog helps me as well as you the reader to build self confidence through articles, posts, tips, and techniques.

There are many ways to build self confidence, some of them include affirmations, hypnosis, NLP, and a lot more that we will discuss later.

Self Confidence is defined as how secure a person in in their thoughts and actions.  It is also defined as how sure a person is about themselves.  Self confidence is freedom from self doubt most importantly.

When you get right down to it self confidence is a problem with self doubt.  You start to question if anything you do is right, if anything you do matters, and if you are worthy.

Your belief system has a lot to do with how much self confidence you have.  Imagine that your self confidence is like a table top.  In order for that table to be secure it needs nice strong legs (multiple legs to stand on)

Beliefs are the legs that support your self esteem.  If you have weak or no beliefs in your ability, your self confidence (table top) is weak and unsupported.

To strengthen your self confidence you need to have lots of beliefs about yourself that together will add up to a strong self confidence.

You have lots of positive beliefs in yourself you just need them to come forward.  Can you find just four of them today?  Building self confidence is a today thing and a long term thing.

Four beliefs I have about myself are that 1. I’m a good person 2. I’m great at my job 3. I’m a very good gardener, and 4.  I am good with personal finance.

There I have 4 beliefs that are positive that I can use to help support my self confidence.  What are your positive beliefs about yourself?

In future posts I will elaborate on this and hope to go over more self confidence building techniques that I know and will find for us to share here.
