Creating Your Own Self Confidence Exercises

Just like lifting weights increases your strength, self confidence exercises increase your confidence.  Building self confidence is not a one time thing and you are done.  You can’t do one exercise to try and increase your self confidence and think you are done for ever.  Just like exercise for your body, these types of exercises should be done everyday to make you strong inside and out!

Generic self confidence exercises can work for you, but why not create your own.  By creating your own exercises you are tailoring them to fit your needs.

You should keep a notebook of your journey and what exercises you do and when.  This will help keep you to your self improvement goals.

Goals

One of the best ways to build self confidence is to make goals and accomplish them.  These could be small easily accomplished goals.  What are somethings you have been putting off and need to do?  Clean the garage, return library books, mow the yard?  It doesn’t have to be big things, just make a list and when you accomplish these physically cross them off your list.

Over time slowly increase the size of your goals.

Dare Yourself

What is something you are afraid to do?  Is is talking to a certain someone?  Right in your note book what fears you have and what you can do to minimize or eliminate those fears.

Often times most fears disappear in the face of deliberate action.

Daily

Affirmations is an exercise you probably already tried and it did not work for you.  The reason why most affirmations don’t work is because people give up on them too quickly.  They say them for two or three days and forget about them.

This is why it is important to keep daily notebook entries about what self confidence exercises you are doing and how often.

Summary

Remember a bodybuilding does not get that body by lifting weights just once, it takes a long time to build that much muscle.  The same principle goes into your self confidence.
